A Wonderful New School, With Your Help to Make It Complete

Spring Branch ISD is building a brand-new Terrace Elementary campus as part of the 2017 Bond Program. This rebuild will give our students a safe, modern, and inspiring place to learn.

But here’s the reality: while the district’s bond covers the core construction and essentials, it does not include every upgrade our students and community need. Important features like a permanent playground cover fall outside of the “standard package” — which means they must be funded separately.

Why a Playground Cover?

• Provide vital protection from Texas sun and heat
• Create a cooler, safer environment for recess and outdoor classes
• Extend the usability of our playground year-round for students, families, and community gatherings
• Ensure the playground is a welcoming space open to the entire community after school hours and on weekends

Our Goal

We need our community’s support to raise $250,000. This one-time investment will benefit every student at Terrace — and families across our neighborhood — for decades to come.

Why We Need Early Support

The playground cover must be planned and installed during construction. Adding it later would be cost-prohibitive and disruptive. That’s why early donations are critical.
