We are excited to share that this year’s Valley Oaks Elementary Auction will take place at a brand new location: the Thompson Hotel in downtown Houston.

Opened in 2024, the Thompson rises 36 stories above the city overlooking downtown and Buffalo Bayou Park and features an expansive 8,000-square-foot ballroom—the perfect arena for our community to gather and “go for gold” together.

With 172 guest rooms, six different restaurants, a wellness spa, and one of Houston’s largest rooftop pool decks, the Thompson offers not only an elevated backdrop for this year's event, but also the perfect excuse to make a weekend out of it and have an adult-only staycation!
